G'day. It's been a while, huh? So its kinda obvious that I haven't used DA in a very very long time. Truth be told I'd abandoned this page as it just didn't feel relevant to me anymore, and also pretty fuckin embarrassing with all the uh, Tintin stuff. I made this account when I was a lonely 14yro who spent all her time in class drawing bad anime and reading xOC fanfiction and had no one around her who she could share her creations with. This site helped me so much during those years. I started to put more effort into my drawings, started writing stories, made friends and encouraged them with their art as much as they encouraged me. It opened me up to a world of inspiration and wonder and, being in my formative years, became a big part of me.

Overtime though I found more active sites with more people to talk about my inspirations with, and my activity here decreased to posting a highlight drawing every now and then. Eventually I just stopped posting altogether, and whenever I would consider coming back I was too embarrassed. I thought of deleting it a few times, but then I would get notifications of people finding my old work and enjoying it. That people still come here and enjoy my dumb old fanfics and pictures makes me feel something I can't quite explain, a mixture of embarrassment and pride. This account is like a time capsule of my very first years online, and even though I won't use it to post my creations anymore I want to keep it up as a reminder that we all start somewhere, that even a small high school hobby can grow into so much more. I hope that by leaving this place as it is it can inspire some who are like I was in knowing that they aren't alone, and there are others out there just like them.

So TL;DR - as of 2019/20 I will be abandoning this account but not deleting it. I'm probably just too sentimental about a website but this place really did impact me, *you* impacted me, in a way that changed me forever. This is all probably worded weirdly and doesn't make much sense, admittedly I've lost my knack for writing, but I hope you all understand.
